    Gold Plating

Gold plating has excellent electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity and excellent weldability, and has a very high reflection effect on infrared radiation. Gold is a precious metal that is not susceptible to oxidation or chemical reactions under normal conditions, so gold plating is the preferred surface treatment solution for situations where electrical conductivity (especially at low voltage), welding resistance and corrosion resistance are required.

    Silver Plating

Silver is a malleable, white, bright shiny metal. It has a high thermal conductivity and a high optical reflectivity in the visible range (gold plating is better in the infrared range). Silver has high temperature lubricity, making it an excellent coating for high temperature nuts and bearings external wear and anti-bite applications, operating temperatures up to 648 ° C. The 99% pure silver has excellent weldability and lead bonding properties, making it ideal for high frequency signal transmission and electric vehicle applications.

    Nickel Plating

Nickel is a silver-white metal with a yellowish tinge. Nickel plating can achieve full bright, semi-bright and even dull matte appearance. Nickel is one of the four ferromagnetic materials at room temperature and is also a highly reactive element. However, electroplated nickel reacts slowly in standard atmospheric environments, forming a protective oxide surface that provides excellent corrosion resistance for most products. The melting point of nickel is 1455℃, which makes it suitable for high temperature electroplating.

    Tri-Metal Plating

The ternary alloy coating, as the name suggests, is a coating composed of three different metals, which are copper, tin and zinc (about 55% copper, 30% tin and 15% zinc). Because of its bright white appearance, the coating is also known as "white copper-tin" coating. It has a smooth texture, is very strong and relatively resistant to wear and tear. Ternary alloy coating has strong corrosion resistance and resistance to discoloration, and is much cheaper than silver. In addition, like silver, the terpolymer coating is non-magnetic and can meet the high intermodulation requirements of PIM, which, combined with its greater corrosion resistance, is applied to products with intermodulation requirements of RF connectors. Ternary alloy plating is easier to weld than nickel, and it does not contain any nickel (or lead), meaning there are no allergens and other issues.

    Hard Silver Plating

Hard silver plating is a high hardness silver plating with good wear resistance developed for charging terminals for electric vehicles (EVs) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHVS). The hardness of traditional silver plating is about HV80-110, and the hardness of hard silver plating (MC-11HS) is about HV150 (-10/+10), which has better weldability and wear resistance compared with traditional silver plating. In addition, the contact resistance and discoloration resistance of the vulcanized gas test are the same as that of traditional silver plating. Therefore, it is possible to try to use hard silver coated film coatings in the thick film area of traditional silver plating.

    Ag-C Plating

Silver carbon (graphite) is a silver and 2% nano-graphite composite coating with excellent wear resistance, low insertion force and contact reliability for charging and high-voltage connector applications. The new coating can pass 20,000 cycles of sliding test, plating thickness of 5μm (load: 2N, sliding distance: 10mm round trip), with excellent wear resistance. In addition, it has a low insertion force and excellent contact reliability, making it ideal for applications that require sliding and high reliability.
